Regarding measurements: Please ensure you are measuring the actual size of the hole into which this product will be placed. Do not measure faceplate for dimensions. For example, if floor hole size is 8 x 14 inches, you should purchase a 8 x 14 inch register. The register drops down into the vent opening approximately 2 7/8 inch with approximate faceplate thickness of 3/16 inch. Faceplate dimensions are 10 x 16 inches.
