Wood return decorative wall grilles by Pattern Cut, Inc are customized to fit your needs. These grilles must be cut to order because of the many options so please allow five business days before your order ships. These wood return decorative wall grilles come in 56 sizes, 26 designs, and 3 wood veneers (Oak, Maple, Cherry). The grille is made of baltic birch ply. If you plan to paint your grille, the manufacturer has recommended the maple veneer. You also have the option of having your grille with or without pre-drilled screw holes. To order the correct size, go to the drop down menu that says "Size/Price" and select the size you measured (if the hole in your wall is 12" wide x 6" high, select the size 12 x 6). Hint: The overall faceplate dimensions of the decorative air return wall grille will be 1 3/4 inches larger than the size listed. Example: 12" x 6" duct opening will have a faceplate size of 13 3/4" x 7 3/4". The grille has an approximate 1/4" faceplate thickness.

You also have the option of purchasing and Adjustable Damper. This damper will transform your decorative wall grille into an adjustable wall register, allowing your to control the air flow.

These beautiful wood vents are made to order, they should ship in 3-5 weeks. Pattern Cut Grilles are special order, non-returnable and cannot be canceled once payment is received.

How to Paint your wood return decorative wall grille

- Choose a good lacquer, shellac, oil, or water based primer.
- Thin the primer.
- Using a soft brush, work the primer over the surface of the wood return grille.
- Apply two this coats rather than one thick coat.
- Using a spray, brush, or roller apply two coats of paint.
- Allow the decorative wall grille to dry before installing in your home.

How to Stain your Wood Return Decorative Wall Grille

- Submerge your wood return grille into a pan filled with stain.
- Wipe off excess stain and allow to dry in an upright position.
- Lay the decorative wall grille flat and spray 2 - 3 coats with a lacquer sanding sealer.
- Apply one coat to the back of the grille to completely seal the wood.
- Sand the grille with a piece of 220 grit sandpaper.
- Lay the grille the flat and spray with a clear lacquer, spraying a light first coat and a heavier second coat.
- Allow to cure for three days before installing.

These grilles are meant to be used in the wall and ceiling only.
