These come sanded ready for you to finish however you'd like. Not only do we have 56 different sizes but the manufacturer is also able to make custom sizes! Just reach out via email or by phone using 1-800-504-5989 for a quote.

How to Order Your Decorative Air Return Wall Grille

- Measure the duct opening in your wall or ceiling (w" x h")..
Ex: a 14" wide x 6" high duct opening will need a 12 x 6 wall grille.
Hint: The outer measurement of the grilles will be 2" larger than the duct size. In the previous example, the faceplate would measure 16" x 8"

How to Stain Your Wood Return Air Wall Grille

- The easiest way to stain your wall grille is to submerge it into a large pan filled with the stain.
- Wipe off the excess stain and allow it to dry in an upright position for 24 hours.
- After laying the grille flat, spray 2 - 3 coats of a lacquer sanding sealer and 1 coat on the back to ensure it is completely sealed.
- With a piece of sandpaper, lightly sand the entire wall grille being cautious around the edges.
- Again, lay the wall grille flat and spray with a clear lacquer.
- Allow your wood return air wall grille to cure for at least 3 days before installing in your home.

How to Paint Your Wood Return Air Wall Grille

- After thinning your shellac, water, lacquer, or oil based primer brush it over the wall grille with a soft brush.
- Be careful not to let drips build up in the edges of the wall grille.
- With a roller, brush, or spray apply 2 coats of your paint.
- Allow to dry completely before installing.

Do not install these Pattern Cut Filter Grilles in your floor.
